Madrid. Thirty minutes to boarding. Fifteen hours to home.
I’m told my dog Buddy has been missing me.
Can’t wait to see him come running up to me!
Hope someone else does the same…cause I know I sure will!

Beautiful Joe. Enjoyed every bit of it. Walking my first ‘stage’ from St Jean in October – and I’m certain I will think of you as I climb!

Valiente!!!
Un fuerte abrazo

Buen regreso a casa Joe.

¿Caminaste a Santiago?

Outstanding blog! I’ve done four Caminos and your blog captures everything perfectly, especially from the perspective of another on the “south side of 50 years” as am I. Well done. I am sure your followers would like to hear from you after you have been home for a month or so to update all of us on how you are coping with the post-Camino “blues.” I am told it is not unlike postpartum depression a mother experiences after childbirth. For what it is worth, I get it every time I leave Santiago. Thank you for sharing.

Joe it’s really been a pleasure reading your posts and blog. It’s made me think a lot about my own Camino adventures so I’m giving some considered thought to posting my own blog . I will send you on a link if I complete it.
I hope you have secreted some contraband chorizo in your backpack for Buddy !!!
By the way I’m from Dublin (Ireland).
Travel safe 👍
